New Tricks

He doesn't have a whole lot of space left on his site, otherwise I believe he would have updated it a long while ago. Larger sites and more space means it costs more money.

Yeah, I'm sorry to say that BalisongMan is absolutely right.

My web space is very limited at this point, and it's too bad because I do actually have a ton of stuff I'd like to put up.

Not to mention that B-X has been blowing over it's bandwidth limit (5 Gigs) by 15 to 20 Gigs each month. That alone has been costing me an extra $100+ per month. So I definitely have to find a better way, if ya' know what I mean.

My contract is up in August for my current host, so I have been busy shopping around. And before you even mention the FREE hosts just let me say their speed (or lack thereof) and service (ditto) are not worth it.

getting 'em open
is half the fun!

Anyone know any really good places to get a website that gives a lot of space, support, and speed without selling the farm? We need to help Clay out here, if we help him we will, in the end, help ourselves since he will be able to put up more, better, cooler, and frickin' amazinger (is that a word??) tricks!!!!

I don't know sh*t about websites when it comes to making or anything like that so [unfortunately] I can't help Clay out.

well what about your CD's with the site on it? Could you make an updated one or an "advanced balisongxtreme" disk? I need something new to learn!!!

Try to create your own techniques/tricks. That's all that Clay does and he does really well at it, I'm sure that the rest of us can create some really great stuff if we really think about it.
I have created: 1 aerial that spins on a horizontal plane rather than a vertical one, 3 "transition" techniques from reverse to forward grip, reverse to reverse open and reverse to reverse closed, one "Jackie Chan inspired" move, my own version of "Xtreme Table tops", a sweet spinning move that goes from an open forward grip to an open reverse grip and vice versa.

Clay,
I know that you have thought this through every which way from Sunday, but I feel compelled to throw my two cents at you. Have you thought about setting up an archive section? You could take certain moves and exercises and remove the avis and just leave the instructional pictures.

Just a thought, If I thought I could get away with it, I would give you space on our server.

Doubt is an uncomfortable condition,
but certainty is a ridiculous one.

Clay,
My good friend, Joe Kerman, co-owns and runs a quality ISP here in WI. They're 100% digital (very fast) and run a very professional business. And since he knows me, he's very bali-friendly.

I'm emailing you his personal address to be used at your discretion. Tell him that David (or Blasto) sent you. Oh yeah, in the mean time, go to www.jvlnet.com.

Hope he can help you out.

FWIW, www.webhosting.com advertises unlimited bandwidth, 125 MB storage for $19.95/month with additional disk storage at $5 per 10 MB.

One problem I have found out about these "unlimited bandwith" servers, is that they are fine for about a month. Until you start getting heavy usage of that site, then they start restricting it.

It always frustrates me, so just go with someone who personally will talk to you, not a company

Yes, in other words, they lie their ass off to get the Sale then screw you over.

BalisongMan, this sounds interesting, could you describe the technique ?
