First is a #23 Camillus..Its a big solid knife and the first ive owned with synthetic handles. It arrived shiny and unused but one nights food prep got the patina going well,i really like this knife..

Next is a Camillus CCC7,a huge solid knife that feels like it weighs more than a ZT 0200..Jigged bone, brass liners and very well made..

Last is this old Sheffield knife..I was given this knife by our local Vicars husband. It belonged to his father who was a sailor and he is adamant this is the knife he carried for many years at sea,,It was dirty when i got it but a cleaning unveiled a beauty (to me anyway)...It has WINGFIELD ROWBOTHAM & CO stamped on it.Half stop and fully open are extremely positive with zero blade play..I like how the tang tapers toward the butt and the stag speaks for itself...

I hope you like my new knives and Merry Xmas to you all from GODZONE.............FES

FES - those are great looking knives - congratz on those beauties! That Camillus with the bullett butt and the Sheffield made knife are both looking so great. Merry Christmas to you and your family :)

Great stuff Fes, three beauties there! Hope you and your family have a great Christmas.

Best wishes

Jack

Like those before me, I think the pick of the litter is the old Sheffield! Two prime Camilluses (Camilli?); they made good knives, but that Hawk is the embodiment of Sheffield work-class knives - tough and good looking!

I like that Camillus CCC7. I would like to find one of those, hopefully in 30-06:)

That old Sheffield looks like it just stepped out of one of Jacknife's stories. Beautiful!

Those are all real nic knives. I especially like the 4 blade Camillus, would make a handy outdoors/hunting knife! Thanks for the photos.

Those are all keepers! Congratulations--and yes, I agree that the Hawkbill is drool-worthy. Nice catch.

beautiful. The hawkbill is a real score. cheers mate and a merry and safe christmas.

Fes, you dirty dog, Nice knives, Camillus knives are as you now know awesome!, and what can I say about that lovely Pruner! early examples of German and English knives have always put before us premium Stag..... good score mate.

That is some nice stag on that hawkbill.Good score Fes.

I really like that Camillus beast! Something about that one ....

The old stag is simply marvelous, marvelous I say

Good God Fes, that stag pruner is beautiful!

It looks like a knife that has a long history and many stories to tell. At least it fires up my imagination. In my minds eye, I can see a sailing ship in heavy weather, men crawling up wet ratlines, a salty Captain bellowing from the quarter deck "Get aloft you dogs or I'll flog your backbone bare!," the smell of rum and tobacco in the Foc'sle. There's stories in that knife!!!

Carl.
