I got a call from my son today telling me that I had a package in the mail. It was a brand new Tusker. I will post some photos after this weekend of camping.

Thanks Scott, this knife is perfect!:D:thumbup:

Enjoy bro. Have a great time this weekend. See you in Oct.

Looking forward to the pictures! :)

I do have this pic I sent lungcutter after it was finished. I'm sure he'll post some other pics when he gets a chance.

Dang that is a good looking blade.

Great work as always Scott. Your Tusker used to be a ' grail knife ' to me and I always told the wife that she could get me one for my 40th birthday, unfortunately I'm now finding I use smaller and smaller blades so don't think I'd get the use out of a Tusker any more.
Gonna have to study your gallery for another option, LOL !!!!

The standard Tusker has an 8" blade. The WST Wilderness Survival Tool has a 6 1/4" blade.

Thanks Scott, 6 1/4" sounds like the sorta thing that I'd get use from !!!!

I was going to say something snide but I won't this time.

One day, I will have a Tusker. It remains my "Grail Knife".

First day back from camping and I cut lots of things. No, I didn't cut myself. The first tree that I cut with this knife was an Ironwood tree. It will make some great hiking sticks for my son and I. I also was able to choke up on the blade and made a few tent stakes to tie a tarp to. This knife is perfect, and it is still razor sharp.

Pics bro, where are the pics. :D
Glad to hear you are enjoying it. Like I told you in the email, the Tusker is my favorite design/knife to make. I have another like yours only 3/16" thick instead of 1/4" ready to finish this week.

Here you go lungcutter.
