New UBB software?

Did you guys get a software update, or just play with the options? I like the page number links next to each topic, so you don't have to load the first page to get the page number index.

New update - I like it too...

There is also a spell checker feature now, but I'm debating whether or not we are going to use it since our language is so chock full of unique terms not typically found in the dictionary.

I like it much better with the page index. Especially because if you already read the first page before and was only curious to see the recent responses, you could just skip to them.

The spell checker will be useful to one person who frequents here....I'm not naming names but his initials are the same as a Vero Beach based manufacturer. LMAO

The new software rocks, especially the page numbers. I agree that the spell checker might be a pain, but I guess its better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
 
RE: Spellchecker. It has an add feature. When it incounters an unknown word for the first time, like umfaan, you can add it with the add button. The added words are stored in a cookie. After a word has been added it is ignored the next time spellchecker is used.

I haven't exceded the cookie yet on another forum. But it is supposed to have a size limit. I don't know what it is yet.
