I just got my new Umnumzaan, and absolutely love it!! My question is I want to loosen the pivot just a touch and am wondering if only the Chris Reeve tool will fit it. I honestly never plan on taking the zaan all the way apart, I just hate to buy a tool and pay $20 plus after shipping just to loosen a pivot screw. Any input would be great.

Thanks

I would leave it alone, Sit on the sofa at night and open & close it a few thousand times and it will be broken in and you won't have to adjust nothing.
Thats what I did with my 2 I have, You can buy the tool for $12.50 if you shop it, Also snap-ring pliers will work. "Rickster" :D :D :D :D :D :D

The comment made about the zaan breaking in after a couple of thou

open and closing is absotutly rite. Youll find it much smoother after couple

weeks.

I opened my reg. up after a couple months of edc. Im glad I did.The

washers had a lot of dirt on them.Dont get me wrong lub was still there but

too much dirt for me and as long as I had it apart why not clean and lube.
