Went home for Thanksgiving and decided to stop at the local hunting and outdoors store. After wandering through the gun section I found my way to the knife cabinet and they had a Chris Reeve Umnumzaan sitting in the case. Sale tag said $350 on it. I decided I would look at it and see how the Chris Reeve folders really felt. Then the girl behind the counter told me all knives were 25% off. Walked out with a brand new Umnumzaan for $280 after taxes. It has been clipped in my pocket ever since. Great folder. I will try to get some pictures tomorrow. It has been a long day of driving home.

Believe me, this kind of luck is not a regular occurrence for me. And it took every bit of strength I had not to walk out of there with the 2 Randalls they had in the case too. A Model 14 for $450 and Model 15 for $470. Thank goodness they are almost 700 miles away now so I can't be tempted.
 
I just got a new umnun a few days ago. Fantastic knife. I only wish I could

have gotten mine for $120 under under retail the way you did. Is this your

first CRK knife?
 
Yep, first CRK. I had been looking for a cheap Sebenza on the exchange to find out what all the fuss was about. I just happened to be at the right place at the right time and now I know why people rave about these folders. Puts my Striders and Benchmades to shame, which I hate saying cause my Benchmade has been a great knife.
