I just bought a new sebbie 11-04 and compared it to my others from a few years ago. There is a difference. Out of the box it was very stiff. After taking it apart, cleaning it and about 50 openings it is getting better. This is something I did not have a problem with a few years ago. A design change in the tang/lock up area and a lock that is just a little more sticky than the others. I'm sure that will get smooth with time but something I have not seen before. The lines on the blade are also a little less square if that makes any sense, it almost looks to be of thinner stock. So to all of you who have a Sebbie from a while back, how do your new ones compare. Don't get me wrong I love this knife, Just wanted a little comparison feedback.

I've also noticed many changes in the "new" Sebenzas. According to CRK, the Sebenza is in a state of constant evolution. I just hope CRK, doesn't start making changes that don't NEED to be changed. Don't fix what's not broken. The changes I've noticed over the years are:
1. The Pocket Clip Screw is now made flush inside the handles.
2. NO MORE Groves on the Spine of Sebenzas!
3. The area on the blade where the stop pin rests has changed a lot.
4. The area right beneath the pocket clip is no longer has a cut out, If you
know what I mean. "They" said this would make the lock stronger but I
guess CRK threw away that idea.
5. The size of the washers have changed too. Some Sebbies have the same
size washers on both sides. Other sebbies have a large and small one.
I'm sure I'm missing something.
GOOD DAY
