Just got it in, awesome knife, fit and finish is outstanding

it is very easy to think taiwan = cheap crap.

this knife is outstanding and i am blown away. I'll take another good taiwanese knife please.

i got this one just for the looks but it will be used.

one of the few knifes that i like the look of the hole

i never hate the look, but i never cared either way

Congrats on an outstanding knife, I've had mine for a few years now but still love it as much as when I bought it.

All of the Spyderco knives made in Taichung Taiwan are exceptional quality. The Vallotton is a nice one.

I just did a regrind on one of those and it was a very nice knife. I really liked the larger handle and the sub-hilt look.

I know if i ever see made at taichung, i know i should buy that knife!

I love it when things counter misconceptions. If you pay some one well to do a good job, they'll get it done. China makes lots of crap, but they make lots of good stuff, my ipod nano, place of orgin is only part of it. $$$ is the other part

yes big chris, i bought it because it looked damn good! and all the rave reviews for fit and finish and it lives up to those reviews 100%

i can only imagine the price tag if it was produced here.
