200 lb. + cowled steel ring.

reinforced oval crown.

the colors remind me of the French and Indian Wars.

we are gonna wrap it with some black 550 cord for decoration, protection and utility - and ship it.

Vec, any chance of engraving the heads with a person’s rank and name? Supposedly this was common for people to have this on their hawks during that timeframe.

i think that is a lovely idea.

my hawks are all simplicity for the most part, but i sure like that idea.

it was just the colors that got me thinking of Roger's Rangers for some reason ...some genetic-memory-synapse musta fired in my DNA ...hehehe...!

a modern version of your idea might be great.

Hey vec,
how do you get such large pics on here. I have a knifemaker membership as well (even though it still says registered user....I have inquired about it with no reply in the past). It seems I have to resize and crop all the time to the point where my pics quality goes to s%$t. Any tips?
