Although I plan on giving a detailed review after I've used my Spirit more. I will say I have carried it for about a week now. Only used it a couple of times not counting the fondling and playing. I like it VERY well!
It has the potential to be my all time favorite. Perfect size and smooth as silk.

I have heard good things about the Spirit X's! I may have to put one on my list...

I have a Core Leatherman and a big Swisstool.

There is very little not to like about the Spirit lineup. Their design and build quality surpasses everyone else on the market (IMO), it may be the most efficient (tools per space) MT available, and the curved handles are easy on the hand when using the pliers (take note, Leatherman). Plus, all of the tools are on the outside. It's spendy, yes, but you only suffer for a short time and get to use the Spirit for years. I'd like to see replaceable cutters, but that's no biggy.

Love mine, have modded it slightly, the blade now has the traditional SAK blade shape and i did the scissors mod.
Would prefer the traditional SAK scissors but once you mod the Spirits scissors they become more useful. Seeing as how slender the Spirit is i think it would be awesome with a pocket clip for actual pocket (not sheath) carry. Victorinox if you are listening put the regular scissors in it and add a pocket clip and i'll buy at least one more, lol!

What is the scissors mod that you did?

You remove a tiny little bit of metal in one spot, it allows the scissors to open wider.
Theres a thread on it on edcforums, thread title "School me on the SwissTool". There are threads on other forums as well.
I'd link it directly here but some mods don't like it when you link to other forums, lol.

The Spirit is a great multitool. I love its looks and high quality fit and finish. Being able to open tools without having to unfold the pliers is a great plus too. Congrats on your Spirit!
