First I've to say I don't know anything of SAK's :D
The new stay glow from Victorinox looks very appealing to me:

any thoughts?

Unfortunately, I don't need most of the features on this knife.
Actually, all I need is on this Wenger E63 (except the luminescent)

I suppose the quality of Victorinox and Wenger are the same???
Have to make some decisions ;)

Hi Neo --

You might want to also check-out the Blade Discussion Forum. Swiss Army Knives, having so many blades and tools, can have postings in nearly every forum.

I used to firmly believe that - please see this tool-by-tool review -

SAKs - Victorinox or Wenger

However recently I found that simply fanning out all the tools on Wengers like in the pictures even for a few minutes may severely weaken the backsprings - please see this thread for the details -

UNBELIEVABLE!!! SAK Quality....

This is a SwissBuck made by Wenger after a few minutes of having the tools fanned out for a photo -

Here are two regular Wenger SAKs -

Both nailfiles can actually stand even further out - but this is approx where they will naturally "snap shut" !!

Hmmm, those Wenger's are looking fairly dangerous...I hope that you needed a nail trimming when you're reaching in your pocket....

The victorinox analog to the E63 (except for the "ergonomic" handles") is the Victorinox Waiter. A very compact knife with classic features.
