Blade length | 71 mm = 2.79" |
Overall length | 184 mm = 7.24" |
Total weight | 75 gr |
The only two I saw are ivory g10 and red carbon fiber. I did see some green micarta at a British site and red g10 at a us site but out of stock on that oneI like it!
Is the handle G10 or micarta? (As I ask this, I will be jetting over to CK to see if Mike has any of these)
That’s interesting then! I only saw the 4.1” but I haven’t looked around much more yet.I think they may have two sizes of the Hug model you posted if you saw 4.1" closed length ... the one I looked at was smaller being just over 7" open and under a 3" blade.
these are the specs I found for them ... I added the inches equivalent.

I just looked again, and that is the total and blade length (sharpened edge length) of the 4.1” closed version. It seems to me that nearly all native pattern knives have a larger handle for the blade length.I think they may have two sizes of the Hug model you posted if you saw 4.1" closed length ... the one I looked at was smaller being just over 7" open and under a 3" blade.

Haven’t seen a 2 blade at all. I usually prefer 2 (clip and wharncliff) but been wanting to try a native to see how it fills both roles for me. I have a vetrov but it’s just too nice to mess up lol!Nice knife. Size wise, it's in my "sweet range", albeit the lower end.
Not that it matters, as I cannot afford one, but is there a two blade version/variation?
- it's a very nice folder indeedSVTFreak with a street legal blade here in UK.....so, not big by any means:
Viper 'Hug' - what a peach
Forgive the lousy pic, just got home, late, and a quick snap under artificial light. Many of us are familiar with the quality and attributes of Viper BladeForums 2020 knife - a successful modern take on the Wharnie Swayback. This one is new from their stable and designed by Sasha Thiel, in...www.bladeforums.com
Awesome! Thanks guys! I ordered the white g10 version. Only that one and red cf are available at the us dealer I saw them at. I can’t wait to get it. Was the last one available apparently lol.View attachment 1710502
It’s a beautiful knife.
Well made, with a firm spring.
This is the G10 version.
The handle is nice , but the blade is simply stunning. Pictures don’t do it justice.
In very pleased with it. It’s borderline legal in the UK.
Ugh I feel you. I had a very slow knife year and had to pass on some real sweet ones for the many reasons this past year, new ac was one of them.Beautiful knife! Too bad I am on a no-new-knife budget because I have to replace my AC unit this spring.
Yeah, and I am not getting good signals from my water heater, either. Both AC and water heater are original to the house, built in 1984.Ugh I feel you. I had a very slow knife year and had to pass on some real sweet ones for the many reasons this past year, new ac was one of them.
