It's been a while since I've been on the german Boker website, but I noticed this baby today: a tomahawk, designed by Jesper Voxnaes, in SK5. I've never bought a tomahawk before, but this might be my first one. I'm really excited about it, as long as the HT is right I can't see how anything could go wrong with this.

I love Vox's designs!

We need some specs on that please. Thickness. Type of steel. Handle material. Thanks.
From Boker's German website...

Gesamtlänge: 35,0 cm
Gewicht: 789 g
Klingenmaterial: SK5
Griffmaterial: G10

So SK5 with G10 slabs, about 13.8" OAL, and about 1.7 LBS.

ETA.... thickness is 6mm without scales

Looks awesome, hopefully boker does it right!

I'm hoping because it's essentially one big piece of metal with slabs on it that there's little QC things that can go wrong, unlike the folders. As long as the HT is right, this thing could be beastly.

it looks like a winner to me, but i'd prefer it to be around 16"-18" in length....but that's me.

When & where can this be purchased ?

From Terry, in relation to another knife.... (Boker Mod)
"...US is always one catalog cycle behind Germany."

So im assuming it will arrive here by the next catalog. Fall im assuming? I believe that's how boker does it.
