First off I love all the various blade designs. But drop points are my favorites. Not sure why.

But if I had to pick I like the newer drop point design seen on the BATACS as opposed to the ones found on the Ergos. The newer design seems more aggressive to me. And I like that. What do you guys think and why the change?

I'll post some comparison pics later.

Here is an example of the two different drop point styles. Older style on top.

Why the change is easy. Busse Combat like any company would die with out new products and innovation. I was recently at a Crosby Still Nash and Young concert. People were getting restless waiting for the old stuff.

Steven Stills told everyone to sit back and relax. We love the old songs too! But the new stuff is what keeps us alive. Same with Busse.

I would love to see a Busse " regular line" that featured a classic blade and handle profile that was ALWAYS availible.

But I am always eager to see what comes next... often I buy. I am not even sure why any more.

To me the Ergo handles on the BA-E are more comfortable than the TAC handles on the BATAC. That was before I handled the BATACLE. The thicker INFI stock and mag handles make this a real comfy fit with some serious heft. What if we hybridize a BATAC blade with an Ergo handle? Double Cut or Satin with Snakeskin mags. I know that SNK isn't available in mag, but a feller can dream can't he? That would be one hell of an offspring. Jerry . . . Jerry . . . Anyone . . . Bueller?

The name? Easy.
