Steve,

Thanks for the link.

The Moran Foundation is a great organization.

A museum that's open only two days a year (for a total of 11 hours). No phone number to call to arrange the advertised tour. The two Moran collections described by the website are in other places no where close to MD. Is there a collection of Moran's on-site?

I am in the area on a regular basis, is the place for real (i.e. an actual museum) and can one see it by appointment?

I've driven past his shop a few times. Disheartening to see the grass high and the shop empty. I am very happy to see that it is slowly but surely getting turned into a museum. I would really like to visit this museum, by appointment only though. Hmmm. A day filled with a visit to Washington Monument state park, Crystal Grottoes caverns, a certain cutlery shop in town, and Bills old shop.

That sounds like a good day.

Thanks for the links buddy....I'd love to see that place. I was fortunate to meet Bill and Margret at my first Blade Show in Knoxville and would see them in Atlanta when the show moved.

I did pick up one of the pencil drawings of his shop and he signed it for me in 1993....has always hung on the wall in my den. :)

I met them at my first knife show, which was Blade Show as well, but in Atlanta. That was quite a treat.
