So can we carry fixed blades and switchblades then? I can never understand the lingo lol.

We've always been able to carry fixed blades, so long as they aren't concealed for sinister reasons or carried in threatening ways. Inside Seattle city limits the you can only carry a 3.25" or shorter blade, but the rest of the state is mostly fair game as long as you're not a dork.

Edit: Sounds to me like the switchblades as we would describe them are still illegal. It's the assisted openers that previously got lumped into the switchblade category that are now legalized.

Ok that makes sense. Crap I still cannot understand why I can carry a semi automatic pistol, or multiple, open or concealed; but not a fixed blade or auto knife...? SERIOUSLY WTF?!!
