I started a new job a while back, decided I needed to good time piece. I got a Citizen eco-drive, but its to nice of a watch to wear out in the elements. I started to wear a Timex Ironman watch only to find out its a) a females watch and b) my mom's property (i happened to find it and she wanted it back) so I went looking for another watch. I have always wanted a ghsock and that was what i though I was gonna get, but I decided on a Casio wave ceptor. It has atomic time keeping and a solar charged battery. Fully charged, the battery will last up to 8 months with no sunlight and it can be charged in doors, but it the manual says it'll take 127 hours to charge 50% and that a normal light bulb isn't capable of charging it anymore than that, who knows. its 100m WR, multi band 5 (its capable of recieving signals from more than 1 atomic tower.)

tell me what you think. ill write a decent review when i learn a little bit more about the watch

Personally I'm an analog guy, I stay away from digital watches. Casio is a pretty reliable name, I'd say if you like it go for it.

I have a few watches, but currently only one digital watch, since I prefer analog watches.

My digital watch is a Casio Wave Ceptor, but not solar powered. It looks good, isn't very expensive and my experience with Casio digital watches is that they last a long time. As a kid I had a simple digital Casio which I had for about 7 or 8 years, I think, only needed to change batteries every now and then.
