(New) waterproof product

Carl, Looks like it could be a real interesting item. However, since their website gives almost no info about their bags , allow me to query you on the one you've got.

Questions I've got on the bags are:
- What is the approximate price?
- How secure is the "lid" of the unit? Looking at the Mini-Bag and Small sizes, the lid (or what looks like the lid in the pic) seems to stick out quite a bit from the body of the bag. So I'm wondering if it is possible for friction/rubbing in a pocket to pop that lid loose.
- What results have you seen from your handling of the unit? Any rigorous testing of it yet?

I'll also query the mfr and post here whatever I can find out from them as well.

Thanks in advance for all info, -- Greg --

Just started testing. Very preliminary sense of the product is that while their seal is robust and unlikely to come undone, it is also bulky and crude. It basically consists of a piece of what looks like 1/2 inch ABS pipe over which the top of the bag is draped. Then a second piece of thinner ABS snaps over the top (like a long "c" clamp) pinching the two sides of the bag closed. It is difficult to open, so it isn't going to just pop open.

I like the bag and think it has good potential, but I just gotta fuss with it a while to decide if I am going to pursue it further. One thing is certain- there is nothing else out there in this size that I think is as durable...

I aim to go to where they are manufactured and have a chat with them. Will post my findings.

These look good, but there are others out there by cascade Designs and others. Personally, I've stopped using bags like these and prefer Otter boxes and pelican cases. they actually are easier and faster to open and close, more secure and also provide shock resistance. But if you can manipulate a keyboard while still in the bag clear bags are better. I don't usually use a keyboard when I need a waterproof bag, though :)
