New Wave from Cabelas - so far has been a great tool. (Xmas gift)
The serrated blade is somewhat tight to open. When opening one handed the lock barely catches - by pushing the blade further open, the lock will more fully engage. However, it does not ever engage to the extent of the non serrated blade and is much less smooth to open.
The half of the tool with the serrated blade is also very tight when opening / closing the pliers.
Is this somewhat common - I have been working the tool to wear / seat the pliers and this seems to be getting better.
Nothing that would make me return the knife, but seems like it needs a little adjustment or something for it to be perfect.
