Hi, I'm looking for a plain leather case (no hole in the bottom and no elastic stuff on the sides) for my leather man wave with new locking blades.

Recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

My fabric case gets too gunky and wet for the work i do with it.

oh! I've seen those on ebay but in the description (on ebay) was that it only fit the old leatherman wave and not the new one with locking blades?
Does anyone own this case with the locking blades?

I think that only fits the old-style Wave. See here. But you may find one on the sheath page at leatherman.com.
 
I'm not the fan of the case my leatherman came in. It was the leather one with the elastic stuff on the side. I carry mine in a black leather buck 110 sheath. sorry for the crappy pics, my camera isnt up to much...

it looks like a tight fit, and maybe a little bit too long? I'm a little disappointed in leatherman for making such crappy sheaths..
Does anyone else have any other alternatives?

I bought a general purpose nylon sheath for my New Wave in a "building and construction materials and tools store" (don't know the correct English term), for 2 or 3 euros. It is brandless, but the quality is good enough.

It fits the New Wave well and since it is a little bit wider than the tool, I can easily put my thumb and finger into the sheath to pull the tool out. But it isn't too wide, so the tool doesn't move.

Until I find a nice leather sheath, this works fine for me.

It's a bit tight if the sheath is new but the leather quickly mods and makes a good fit. You can actually put the entire tool in the sheath so its not exposed, but i leave the top sticking out a little for easy access. It's not perfect but I don't like the looks of the one it came with so it will do for now.
