New way to remove the blue!

One member of my CRK rotation is a small 21 insingo. While sharpening it to 15 degrees per side I kept hitting the thumb stud and eventually just filed the top off to make things easier. I actually like it better, it is easier to get a purchase on for one handed opening! But the title says remove the blue, so let me get to that...
Since I removed the top of the stud, I figured I better go silver on the hardware to make it look right. I tried to use flitz, which worked great on the spacer, but was not getting to the smal areas of the stud. Finally I thought that a dremel with a wire wheel would make short work of it, and was right! I made sure to use steel bristles since I have learned in the past that brass will come off on harder metal, and kept it on low.

Here is the result:

Thanks for letting me share, my wife shooed me away when I tried to show her!

Looks good, I prefer the silver personally. I don't particularly like the look when the blue starts to wear.
