All joking aside, I'm interested in the Micarta version. I have a problem though.

So far, the Sencut Snap with wood scales has been my 2021 pick for best knife under $50. I didn't expect to love it as much as I do. WE just really knocked it out of the park with that one. It has a similar blade shape to both this and the new Civivi Relic. Since I don't need three new knives from the same company with the same blade style, I have to decide which one of the other two I want for Christmas. Do I get this one or the Micarta Relic (in either stonewashed Nitro-V or their 9Cr/10Cr Damascus)?

One thing that pushes me towards the Relic (besides tweezers) is the slightly thinner blade stock. While 0.13" isn't egregious on the Snick, I feel like anything over 0.12" (3mm) is totally superfluous for my needs in an EDC folder. It's just extra material and possibly extra drag depending on how the blade mates up with whatever I'm cutting. The Relic is listed as 0.12" and I recently saw one measured at just under that (2.8mm).

What does that even mean? Are you one of those "war on Christamas" crybabies? Goess what: Christamas isn't a Chinese cultural tradition, so whatever you experienced is irrelevant. You're being a Krampus about a typo made by the OP and jumping to wild conclusions about "culture." Go back to Hong Kong dude, you'll be happy to find more things to complain about and maybe you can get a job teaching people how to spell Christamas.

I like it. I wouldn’t buy it, but I like it. Nice blade shape, good deep carry clip, nice choil, but not too deep. I’d prefer something like CF or straight Ti over the G10.
