Just wanted to let everyone know my new web address is www.lameycustomknives.com this will get you to the current site (which will be revamped in a few days). You will also be able to get there in a day or so (via some dns magic) through www.mattlamey.com or www.lameyforgedknives.com

They will all take you to the same site. Im really looking forward to revamping and keeping the web site updated more etc.

Any how, heres a 1095 & Ironwood Figher, 10" blade 15"+ overall-

I am going to eventually revamp the site a bit, as soon as I settle on some new software.

That's a beauty Matt! It's got that very ypically spot-on blades shape that it seems all your knives have :thumbup:

That is my favorite of the knives you have made so far!!! Gorgeous!!

Love these, Matt... the cocobolo is gorgeous, and combines superbly with the copper guard.

Thanks for the update Matt. I'll be chekin it out often. Hope to see some combat style fighter blades with black micarta handles! Looks like your going to be doing some stag too, nice!

Hey Matt,
I was going to call you about a week ago because I had checked Your previous website a Couple of times & it kept coming Up wth the Cannot Connect with this Website page.I just figured it was a Glitch on your end,so It's good to see your New Site Up Thread & a Couple of New Knives for an Added Bonus.I like Both Knives,but I'm Curious about why you started Using Copper for your Guard Material?
Keep Up the Great Work Bro,
Buddy S.:cool::thumbup:

hi Buddy, i came across some 3/8" copper bar so i figured it would make a nice guard. Im out of the 3/8" now, still have some 1/4" and will be using it on occasion. I like it alot as it works easy, and takes a very nice color in short time... kind of like an old penny, red/brown.

Eventually im going to get away from using SS for gaurds or pins, I just prefer a forged blade with steel, damascus, wrought iron etc.... fittings.

Matt,

You produce some of the most beautiful hamons in the knife market as far as I'm concerned. I hope to own at least one of your knives in the future.
