Got a surprise this morning! The RMK page is completely different. Not sure I like it more, but I’ll get used to it.

Everything was listed alphabetically which puts the Alaskan first and all the ones that start with “Models” in the middle. I found you can rearrange to be sorted oldest to newest which puts them into a more familiar order.

The noncatalog models are now just mixed in and I guess now are regular catalog?
Post your thoughts?

Also a quick look reveals a new model? A filet knife with a stag handle I don’t remember seeing before.

There may be more new ones possibly some are missing. IDK?

Looks like the #6-9" "Carving Knife" sold seperately and rebranded as "Filet Knife"

Also the #14 and #15 CDT versions are stand alone offerings.

I just hit the site today too and am digesting it. Definitely an improvement overall, using nice photos from print catalog and maybe some new ones too but still using older photos which never looked the best.

Just ordered my first Randall knife on March 15.
Was a very cool experience because I was browsing for the week before on the old Web site and getting a real good feel for the site and low and behold the day I ordered my knife was the day I believe they changed the layout to the new one. So was kind of awkward and fun at the same time. Model 12-9" #14 grind Sports Man Bowie with #25 handle will be 6 years in waiting. It will be for my 50th Birthday present to me!

Yes, it will. I always wanted a Randall since I first heard of them about 20 years ago and I almost pulled the trigger in 2015 on one but didn't and now I got the bug again and will probably order one from a dealer way before I get this one but This one directly from Randall will be special and totally worth the wait. Will post pics when it arrives.

I ordered a 2-6 a few years back, and while I waited for it I put aside all my pocket change for the five years I waited, when it was time to pay for the knife I had enough change for the knife and a nice bottle of whiskey for the unboxening...

Happy Birthday!!!
What a great gift to yourself.... :D

I don't have one yet, but it's on my To Do list

Probably for the best, but I agree, kinda threw me at first, as it had been a year or so since I had been on the website

I too did not like when first used. Now I do. Selecting main menu "Shop" you get Options:
1. Selecting by a Category ie: Bowie, Military, etc.
2. Shop by Catalog
3. Shop by Non-catalog
4. Shop all Knives
To see additional options, you go to main menu, selecting "The design"
The Filet knife has always been available. It is the same knife that comes with the 3 piece Carving Set.
No new knives added or deleted.

Good to know, as someone that just got into ordering Randall knives, how often does Randall increase prices and by how much? I want to have a few for the collection.

They usually increase January 1st. So it is a good idea to order one during December.

I track the model 1 prices. The others seem to increase about the same amount
1965 $25
1967 $38

2003 $260

2015 $375

2018 $405
2019 $420
2020 $440
2021 no increase
2022 $460
2023 $470
2024 $490

It is very likely this New Years the Model 1 will be over $500

When you order your knife you lock in today’s price. So the $50 deposit will save you about $100 off of the list price when it is delivered.

Wow! Great thanks for the data. It seems that they started out as a 250$ knife calculated for inflation. Telling me that they are worth the investment to collect and appreciate. The models I would be interested in, would also make awesome Pig Stickers.😊

My advice is order what you like.

I’ve made money on every Randall I’ve sold but never charged more than the current list price.

We're there any price increases this year?
Forgot to check before end of last year still waiting for an order from a dealer that quoted less than a year, will be 1 year on March.
Model 1 my first Randall, Did notice Randall now estimating 7 year wait through them. That is a long time, WOW!

The model 1 only went up $15 this year. It broke the $500 barrier LOL.

I don’t keep track of the other increases.
