new web site

When you posted this Chestnut for sale here,
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=270296

I thought you were just someone trying to make ends meet, and didn't say anything.

But this morning, I was at CKD, and saw your add there, plus your web address, http://www.ckdforums.com/showthread.php?threadid=16434

and I realized that you are a dealer.

What you are trying here is NOT cool. Dealers are required to pay a fee for the right to sell on this forum, so in affect you are cheating the owner of this forum out of the $$, with which he feeds his family.

After this bit of sleaze, I wouldn't buy anything from you.

BTW; there is a specific thread in another forum dedicated to posting new web addresses.

sorry i'm not a dealer i just post more on ckd than i do on this site.

just wanted to give people some nice wood at a fair price.

actually i'm at college and i study graphic design and i'm 17 years old

so how the hell could i be a dealer.

I stand by what I wrote above. Your site says "wood supplier".
Even if you are not a 'real' dealer, you have to pay a fee to sell here.
If you will look up at the top of the page, you will see "Get a premium, gold, dealer, or knifemaker membership.
One of those IS required to sell on BFC, and only in the proper"for sale" forums. Most of us have anted up for one of these memberships, why should you be the exception?

i have not got any money to pay for it that is why i'm selling this wood so that i can afford to pay to have a gold membership.

sorry that i have not got as much cash as you!

Since you have no idea what my financial situation is, your statement is rather stupid.

you don't know mine

come on can't we be friends thats why i joined this forum anyways.
and to make a little cash for student fees

jbaron,
It's a pretty simple rule here. If you are a basic member, you can't sell stuff. Seems easy enough to me.
BTW, if you notice at the top, I'm one of the Knifemaker Moderators here on Shop Talk. You can edit out the selling parts or I can.
You are welcome to talk about woods but trying to sell them as a basic member is a no-go.

We try to be a little patient with newbies but you've had it explained to you now; any more spamming will get you banned.

I think you're small enough that we'd let you get by with a gold membership, but even if you get that you'll only be allowed to advertise in the Exchange section, not in the discussion forums.
