I didn't see that CPM 154 Dorado or the Palmwood 118 on the page before. Nor the Cow Bone 110 and Charcoal Dymondwood 110 in 154CM, for that matter. Is this my imagination or are they putting new things up?

Wow, I hope I'm not too much of a skeptic, but a Dymondwood 110 w/154CM for that price? I just ordered three of them and hope it's not a typo! That's what a regular one from WM costs! I ordered two of the cowbone 110's also just for good measure. :D

Those are some good deals!

Had to resist hard to not buy several of them. Just spent $1000 on car repairs though and have to tighten up some going into the holidays.

$30 for the 154 110 is a deal though! May have to come back for a pair of them once I ponder it more.......

Yeah, it seems too good to be true. But look at the tang stamp (use their enlarging button) there is no date stamp, either. I guess if you're going to stock up on premium steel 110s, now's the time.

I'm thinking along the lines of ohen cepel. I have other expenses this month and just received my "big four" BCCI DP's, but that price makes it very tempting!

I'd sure like to have a picture of the back side to see if it has the Bos logo and 154CM on it. Even if it is a typo, that price for a Charcoal Dymondwood 110 is still good. I suppose I'd be dissapointed but wouldn't make a big stink about it if it isn't premium steel.

I just received an e-mail from Buck about the web specials (after my first order went in) offering a free "Buck Spreader knife" if you buy $125 or more from the web specials page, so I went back and bought two more of the 110's and the CPM154 Alpha Dorado to get my free butter knife.

I'll have five of the 154CM 110's so if some of you miss out on them this time, I'll have a few to share with the Buckaroo's here.

Those 110's are brass bolstered right? I'm used to seing the NS on the bay.

It doesn't specify but it looks like they are brass from the illustration. That in itself is unusual and would be something different. I have a few of the charcoal 110's and they all have NS bolsters so a brass one to add to the collection will be cool.

I'm also wondering what the blades were intended for originally? I first thought of the BPS knife but they are CPM154, not 154CM.

Maybe left over CKS blades? I dont know, when I got interested, the current CKS blade selections were the same.

That would be a new look, although I have been waiting to catch one of the NS's cheap for a couple years, I have been disappointed in how easily they scratch just by being in my pocket. So brass may be better expect for the tarnishing of course. I am rambling..........might as well go with it. The new BCCI paperstone 110 doesnt seem to be scratching at the bolster at all and I've carried it several days now. But the 154cm is the kicker. I must have one. Gotta figger how to get past the watchdog(wife) Ramble over:D

Dang I placed an order and added 2 of the 110 dymondwood and overlooked the blade steel as I was so excited about the price. I hope it is not a misprint but like you I will be happy either way.

I do NOT think 154cm has ever been used in a 110. The Bass Pro knife is CPM-154. At the price asked, I find it difficult to believe the specs are not an error.

It would be nice if Hubbard or someone could verify.

man i hope the 110 is 154 since i bought it due to that. saw that deal and just bought it without thinking twice. now going back for other choices. would be good to get an official answer. lots of other nice ones on there i'll be picking from tonight too

Interesting that the cow bone handled 110 has a 1998 date stamp on it. I hope that is the way they come.
Fritz, that could be a special one for you!

I agree I would like verification, but I do believe that the CKS once offered an option of 154 CM for the 110 blade, if I remember correctly.

If we don't get a reply from Buck, whoever gets one first, please let us know. :)

I've been using a BCCI paperstone and have picked up several scratches, mostly from hitting the inner snap when putting it back in the sheath, but also from rubbing the leather itself inside the sheath. It's a user, so I don't care. However, I've been using a buildout from the AG Russell Canoe Moose (with the Mastodon scales) for weeks now and it is scratch free. Go figure

I may take you up on one if they all sell out first, this is not the best week for me to take advantage of this special. :) Thanks.

I would consider calling Liz. She'll know and then you "bargain shoppers" can decide how many charcoal/420hc 110's you really need.

If it really is 154cm PLEASE PM me asap so I can order 10!!

Looks like they did Gordon. Here's a screen shot of part of the 1982 Custom Shop catalog. It does list 154CM as an option. Whether or not it was available for 110's I don't know.
