Hi guys, long time no write. Been busy developing my website and here it is :- http://www.jcbknives.com Next website update will have at least another 15 knives on it, incl. a lot of mil-spec ones in preparation for any impending unpleasantness.

Here's 2 non-identical twins as a starter.

The first one has black linen Micarta bolsters, stabilised Spotted Silky Oak slabs, the second one is Black polyester Pearl bolsters, stabilised Spalted Arctic Birch slabs. Both have 3inch O-1 carbon steel blades, flat ground, edge quench with a 60-61HRC edge, 800grit satin hand rub, some filework, modified "coffin-handle" grip shape. Sheaths are handtooled black leather.

Hope these work.

Cheers,

Those knives are really nice, but what the heck is redskins racing. That is the web page I get when I click on your link.

Great website. I really enjoy it and your knives too. Those are pieces of art, very beautiful.

Nice knives. Hope those of us in uniform don't have to use em for real, but if we do I'll bet they'll be glad of the quality!

My, oh my..............that's some TASTY stuff. I see where some of my future income will be going--------------very nice! :D

I read the first reply, checked it out and "What the #$%% happened to the link ???!!!" Looks like its working now but yup, I got Redskins racing too. Needless to say, I know little about computers except how they can sometimes stuff up. Anyhow. Thanks for all the response so far. All you guys who emailed me, hope you got my replies already.

In terms of the unpleasantness ... well, feel a little helpless about it all. But my decision was that even if I don't like the idea of fighting / war etc. at least I could support the guys and gals who have to do the stuff that I hope none of us have to do. Made a few combat ones (very similar to the D-2 Tac) and they were gone before I could blink (or take pictures). Made those knives a priority and finished them up quickly so they could pick them up before they went. More coming but will have to wait till the next website update.

here's a pic of the D-2 Tac. I've put the 2 I have aside for Gabe. They were originally made for someone else on custom order but its been a long time and no pickup. No matter, I make these sort a lot. I have used soooo much canvas Micarta in the last 2 months its not funny. I think my nose gets a little itchy everytime I grind it !

The blade is D-2 at 58-59HRC, the handles are mortised and mated (invisible seams) black and turquoise canvas Micarta. Sheaths feature my Quik-Snap adjustable retention snap system. Cheers. Jason.

Cheers.

I appreciate all the comments. Its been most encouraging.

The spalted birch Personal Persian is now spoken for.

I'm having trouble linking to some of the http's etc. listed on your posts, Is it supposed to be that way ?

Cheers.

I really like that spalted arctic birch. Really nice job. Checked out the site and great stuff all around. I think you'll be hearing from me in the near future as well.

I am most impressed. The lines on the knives show great care and skill have been applied during the creation process.

Elegant with splendid finishing. Anyone would be proud to own one.

Congratulations.

I see you're from PJ. I was born in Penang ... Are there any knifemaker's in Malaysia. I don't mean the kris makers or village machete-smiths, but those turning out custom stainless, tactical, Micarta handled, stabilised wood, you know that sort of stuff...

I recall there was a company in Indonesia doing that sort of stuff - like a semi-custom shop doing some pretty impressive-looking work.

Thanks for the kind words. Cheers.
