Looks like they've made 3 new ones now, without the tungsten carbide coated blades.

A few questions -
Is this a collector or a user?
How strong/safe is the button lock setup?
Does the coating chip off easily on the other ones?
I've heard that the William Henry knives may open a bit too easily. Your take on that?
Letter opener or whittler?

Is it a collector or a user? Don't you think that is a fairly subjective question?

As far as lock strength or safety...I have no idea. It doesn't really matter much to me, it's a locking knife. Plenty safe IMO.

No the tungsten carbide doesn't chip off easily. It doesn't chip at all in fact, its laminated to the blade.

I've never picked up a WH knife that opened "too easily". Then again, I don't really know what "too easily" really means either. It's not a switchblade that is going to go off in your pocket, if that's what you are asking...

I like the looks of them but I would have much rather seen the handle be the same texture but with g10. And for that price a titanium handle wouldn't have been too much to ask either. Still good looking knives.
