Greetings,
i"ve been reading these posts for quite some time now , i must say that I truly admire the character of the folks here on this Buck forum. Also I believe an introduction is in order. my name is Troy, i live in northern california.
Love my wife and children, fishing and my collection of knives. ran the gauntlet of one handed knives and find myself more at home with a pocketknife. my grandfather ALWAYS had his Buck 309 with him and it never failed him, ever!
whatever needed fixing his buck fixed, his son, my uncle also carried a buck 309 for as long as i can remember. Now on to me, i have a varied assortment of traditional pocket knives that i enjoy carrying, however i always come back to my buck, partly because of the company values but more so i believe because grandpa always carried one. if it was good enough for him it is certainly good enough for me. thanks for letting me ramble
