I am a huge fan of the Nessmuk design, and almost always have a “Mild Hump” on my blades. The word Nessmuk means “Wood Drake” in the Narragansett Indian language. I recently sat down with a friend and drew up the design I call PETRA if you are interested that thread can be found here: CLICK ME The Wood Drake is a modified version of that design.

I plan on making more of these, the one in Ironwood (Not two tone) is going to be my user. I plan on putting it through the paces over the next few weeks.

Specs:
Steel: 1/8" 1080
OAL: 9"
Blade: 4.5" (Tip to Choil)
Pins: 1/4" Aluminum Tubing & 1/8" Nickel

Great design Ryan! It is a work of art that has a beautiful flow that begs to be picked up and used. What a tool.

Ryan,

They look brilliant mate. You have those angled/layered handles down! Great work!

Thank you Chain, Johnathan & Matt, I have really been enjoying the handle work, they are some of the most comfortable I have held.

That Maple Burl and IronWood is calling my name! Sweetness.
