So, I received my Woodland Cam lam scales from Jim62 last week. I have to say that i am really happy with them. They look amazing and the fit on mine is great. To me, they look like they are handmade and not perfect and exact as if machine made which i feel gives them a more classy and unique look. It was very cool of him to throw in a ceramic rod with a matching Woodland camo handle for having to wait for them to be finished. Overall, as i mentioned already, they give a really nice added look and feel to one hell of a knife (have them on my 2). I would definitely buy from him again. Here are some pics, Sorry if they are dark. Please let me know what you think so far.

T..

You were great to deal with as well.:) I hope you find that ceramic as useful as I do.;)

I can't wait to see some pics of that knife in the field.

I assume it's some sort of soot, probably from the explosion of awesomeness when the mail man saw him whip it out to open the package containing the scales. :D Nice score man. MORE PICS! Outside pics!

One question about the scales,, how slick are they for field use??
That particular set is pretty much a satin. They all take the finish a bit differently.

I put three coats of thinned Marine grade spar on each set. I try not to make them super glossy slick as it looks kind o weird on a Combat Utility knife like a Becker and it also is a bit too slick.

They are probably a little "grippier" than the Grivory scales and not quite as grippy as sandblasted Micarta.

Those scales look great, I also have a set from Jim, I love em. Enjoy man
