This is my new Ultralight Friction Folder that I made for myself. It`s got a 4" handle and a 3" blade, 1/8" thick, and with a total thickness of 3/8". The handles on this one are 1/8" black G10. I`m going to the Nashville area in two weeks and plan on taking this along on a few hikes my brother in law is taking me on.

Very nice! Can't wait to see the scandi version and to hear how it performs.

There have been several threads regarding a scandi folder...that will be awesome...

I have recently come to love friction folders...i got a svord peasant recently that i really like. yours looks like an uber awesome version of it. LOVE IT.

I'd really like to see one in a full flat grind with a convexed edge. 0-1 blade. Canvas micarta handle.

It would be interesting to see what could be done as a bail/latch to lock the blade open.
