Hi All,

Here's a couple of knives I forged and finished over the last couple of weeks.

This is a knife that I really enjoyed making. It's closer to san-mai than Damascus at only 20 layers, but it yielded some interesting and beautiful results. Internally pinned & soldered bolsters with a Desert Ironwood handle and Bronze pins. 5.5" blade 5/16ths thick. 9 & 7/8ths overall.

Here's a Big Bowie. 640 layer Damascus throughout. 11&1/8th inch blade, 16&7/8ths inches overall. 1/4" thick at ricasso. Elk handle.

Here's an old pre-Journeyman's knife that I just sold. It was meant to look similar to the old Ames rifleman's knife.

Have fun looking.

That first one takes my breath away!!! Your knives are incredible. Thanks for posting your work.

wowza, those are all very nice but I agree the in the first the elements all come together most pleasingly. And I love your maker's mark, it's got a lot of style!

Thanks FishFace5,

I'll be experimenting more with the low layer medium. Oh I got miles of style Ha Ha.
