New Xm-18 Just arrived!

I just opened the box to my first XM-18. It is a 3.5" flipper model, with and orange scale, and a tumbled finish. This is truly a beautiful piece. This is the most expensive knife I have ever purchased and it is quite obvious why that is. I can not say enough about Mr. Hinderer and Mr. Orlando. The customer service provided by Mr. Orlando is top notch.

I have had this thing a week and today put about a .5" flat spot in the blade. I guess I should try harder not to hit the metal on the dog crate when cutting zip ties off. No worries, now for some work on the flat stone. Could not be happier overall with the quality of this knife. Just a little pissed at myself that I have already rolled the edge. I bought it to use it, oh well.
