Starting off the new year with my brand new Case large stockman in CV and sawcut amber bone. I ordered on Christmas Day and it arrived this afternoon. There're a few small imperfections and some slight blade rub, but it's a big smooth solid knife and I've wanted one of these jumbo stockman knives for a couple of years now. I'm very, very happy. Also pictured is my favorite Christmas gift from my girlfriend, which is an absolutely hilarious game for people with a twisted sense of humor.

Happy New Year, everyone. Be safe and have fun and hope 2014 is a great year for everybody here!

Very nice knife, I carry a number of modern Case Knives and find them to be excellent EDC's. OH

Excellent pattern. I'd probably send it to case and ask them to fix the blade rub. They are nice knives though.

Excellent knife and the best family friendly game on earth. 😃

Actually nice knife and funny game. Be careful who you play it with, some people will judge you.

Nice! Great looking knife and Happy New Year :)

Thanks! Happy New Year to you as well, and everyone else on this great forum.

I have a few other modern Case knives too, including a medium stockman. I prefer bone scales and CV steel, but prior to this purchase I've only had stainless Cases and a yellow Delrin CV trapper. This one hits both of my preferences in one of my favorite patterns and in a size I like.

Very nice :)

Thanks. It is a nice knife. I was worried the bone would look a little boring but I like it.

The blade rub doesn't really bother me. It's much less on this big stockman than it is on the medium Pocketworn stockman that I also have. This is going to be a working knife for me so it's going to get character marks anyway. :)

Right on both counts... But it depends on the family. ;)

Beautiful knife, hawk. Hau'oli Makahiki Hou!

Hau'oli Makahiki hou ia 'oe! Mahalo nui loa!

Thanks. I played it on Christmas morning with both my family and my girlfriend's family... My uncle and her grandmother both out-horribled everyone else, and her family and I played again last night. It's become a family favorite. :D

Their CV shouldn't disappoint, it'll take a nice patina and get screaming sharp. A very nice knife, I especially like the scales.

That is a really great looking knife !

Never heard of the game, but I have a very twisted sence of humor, so I may like it.

The scales on this one are nice, and there's no shield to worry about falling out. Sliced an apple up with the clip point today and got a patina started. Right now it's all sorts of crazy blues and purples, looks almost like color case-hardening.

Ha! We got and gave that game for Christmas.. check out Game of Things as well if you've not done so..
