Well I've needed to do this for a long time. I've been lucky enough to win four giveaways on this fantastic site so I think this is the very least I could do.

The knife up for grabs is a VERY used benchmade 557 mini griptillian. I sanded the coating off one day when I was bored and couldn't remove the thumbstud (Broke my t6 bit trying to) so it has a little "Black eye" going on. It could be prettied up again but I jut don't have the time. I will clean it up before sending her out as well (I lent it to my buddy and he mucked it up a bit. I think this would be a great first benchmade for someone even though it's rough looking.

I want you to post what band you like the most and what your favorite song is. I'll start My favorite band is In Flames and my favorite song is "Jester script transfigured" you must have at least 500 posts to enter.

The Giveaway is open until Jan. 20. It is open to all members. I would like to keep this in the states please, I can't pay for international shipping. 18 years and older please unless you want to make a video with your parents giving you permission to own this knife.

I just want to say thank you all for making this place like another home for me and teaching me about knifemaking and sharpening and being like a family to me for the past four years. Here's to many, many more.

Here's a little recap of the rules.

Must be 18 unless parents give consent
Must have at least 500 post
Must be CONUS
Paying members may enter twice if they like
You must list your favorite band and your favorite song (Doesn't have to be by your fav/ band)

Rules are rules, sorry. You seem to have some High quality knives by looking at your posts. 0561/0560, delica, 530, silent soldier. bought your mom and brother xm-18s and your dad an xm-24. Those are pretty high quality if you ask me.

If you can get to 500 by the end of the month, you're qualified but please don't enter until then.

Dang a favorite band is nearly impossible. So lets go with one that has been stuck in my head for awhile.

I have to agree that it's hard to pick a favorite band. I couldn't tell you my favorite band a year ago but then I was introduced to In Flames and I haven't stopped listening to them since which is something I can't say about any other band I've heard. Lamb of God comes close but still can't beat In Flames, especially the old stuff from Whoracle, The Jester Race and Subterranean. Something just clicks when I listen to them.
 
Favorite band has been Evanescence for well over a decade. Favorite song is a bit harder, I'll go with Lost in Paradise for now.

Favorite band.... not really a fair question for me at the moment, but recently I've been on a electronica kick (best music to listen to while programming or doing other work). I have been enjoying a pandora station based on this song.
