I was awoken to...Dad !..When are we going hunting?..You promised me last night when you were dancing with the manequin with no head??.....enough said

4 hours later we are in the WAIRATA state park on top of a ridge....I decide to drop into a basin id not been in before..Unbeknown to me this was a different watershed,that caused some navigational issues??...It all ended well.......Happy New Years to all my fellow traditionalists.............FES

The truck is parked on pastureland in distance..maybe 4 miles?..Good walk for an 8 year old and a guide with a sore head..Prime deer country

Wow FES! Those are some spectacular photos:thumbup: What a beautiful place to spend some time with your son. Those rounded boulders in the river sure tell a tale of some time and waters passing. Thank You for yet another glimpse into paradise :)

Those first few pictures are hilarious. I wasn't sure at first if the repetition of pictures was done on purpose to drive home the point that you were hung over, and possibly still inebriated when you took them. :D

I spent some time looking for the boy and the crossing etc. in the early pictures.

If you keep posting pix like that, especially at this time of year, you're going to cause an uptick in immigration.
