We had a quiet one at home again this year. I still drank too much beer. The evening light was so beautiful I had to take some pics.

Here's the view off our back deck...

The sun lit up the trees with the most gorgeous golden light...

Time for a camp oven. Chicken, potoatoes, sweet potatoes, about a kilo of garlic, mixed herbs and olive oil. Delicious!!!

That last pic looks like something from a movie, where lost backpackers stumble across people in the wrong neck of the woods! Nice one mate. Would have been a good night.

Awesome place ROb:thumbup:

Nice pics Rob. We had a simple night at home as well along with a fire. Only difference was the 4 inches of snow on the ground around the fire pit. Still it was a wondedful time and a bit too much beer.

It's one of my favourite things to do having a fire and cooking on it. I have a pork shoulder in the freezer I'm going to do in the camp oven soon. Looking forward to that!! Who wants to come for dinner???!! :)

If you make it a weekend I'll bring the beer.
