who is actually going to "party"? I mean get drunk hang out with friends/ loved ones etc. Have a good time?

I am unsure if I am too old at 36, so I need reassurance from strangers on the internet:thumbup:

We don't go out and party but I usually cook something special and we eat later than our usual meal time.

As for you, being in your thirties and all, if you don't go out and get disgustingly drunk with a bunch of strangers and wake up hungover in some unknown woman's apartment reeking of cheap liquor, cheaper perfume, and stale cigarettes then you have no life and you should become a monk. ;)

We are having another couple over plus thier kids over we will eat some good food. Drink in moderation or not at all. and watch a comedy on the DVD and watch the Ball drop and watch everyone else in NYC get drunk.

Bah ! I'm 41 and I may go out , a bunch of the old crew may get together at someones house.

If not then I'll stay home and watch movies ! :D

You still have a few more years before you have to sit home and act civil. Just remember that the inexperienced drinkers are all out and about...they're the ones that cause accidents:D

1. If you gotta ask, you're too old.
2. New Year's Eve is Amatuer Night. Save the partying for times when the heat isn't out in force.

I am going out! This was a test of the emergency need a break system.

MOST of you failed!

Now, lemme hear your stories, what are youse guys planning?

Will probably go to a friends place in the neighborhood- there is medium-sized party (annual thing) sizing up. May well have a few pints & tuck in early. Who knows.

Hey, Ron. Don't let anyone ever tell you you're too old. Right now, you're probably too young to be out on a cold drunken night!

Don't let Ken tell you you're too short, either. If you're tall enough to look a cop in the knee, he can hear you ask for help getting home.

I'm 37. We will be partying with friends and there is a distinct possibility someone will get drunk.....maybe me...not sure....but it's possible. :)

ron, if your too old, im too old.

but ill be at work anyway. new year's eve and new year's day.

Gonna take the missus out for dinner early WITHOUT the kids. Pick up the kids, get 'em to bed at a semi-reasonable time, break out the booze, struggle to stay up until midnight, hope I'm awake enough to give the missus the best 7 minutes of 2008.

I'm planning on flying to Jersey and looking for drunk midgets to beat up! :p:D
