New Years Kami Party -- couple of pix.

A caring and generous forumite who may identify himself if he so chooses sent $100 to BirGorkha to throw a party for the kamis. The pix (if you can see them well enough) show the results. The kamis chose to take off Jan. 1 and start the new year (ours not theirs) off right. 46 people were fed including a few homeless men and a couple of orphans who were standing around watching with mouths watering.

A huge thanks from kamis and hungry homeless.

Nice to see some folks sharing a capital gain and making it onto somethin! Looks like those kamis throw a mean shindig.

It is good to see that they can enjoy themselves once in a while. They sure work hard enough most of the time.

Generosity from a forumite doesn't surprise me at all and it doesn't seem to be the exception with these guys. The amount is a bit unusual but if a guy can afford it why not?

They sent one pix of an orphan and a homeless fellow with no shoes (Jan. 1 in Nepal and it gets very nippy)enjoying a decent meal which I elected not to post. Too sad.
