The new yellow scale 300s are being shipped out by L.Oden. Here is 303, 309and 305. Mr. 301, aka Bear Claw will be here with a good closeup of the 301 shortly.

Fit and finish good, scales tight, no nics on the edge of the nics, good solid production knives for those that like yellow smooth scales. I still don't like the abrupt angle of the 309 clip blade, seems it would look better with a little more angle back toward nic. 300Bucks

The bolsters looked rounded on those as on the Chairman of the Board series . Seems like most of yours issues on this model is personal . Glad they got one right for you . Good photos as well . DM

Reply to point brought up by DM.

Note - The black Valox scaled standard version 300s are only models left with 'square-ish' bolsters. All of the other three versions offered are the new Comfortcraft rounded bolsters. The 2010 Dymondwood series is one of those changed versions. FYI

Those pictured look nice. They don't seem to have the Stanley Tools yellow which I was dreading. The 300s seem to have a creamy yellow look, almost old-ivory or yellow-mints which seem nicer in the picture above.

DM has the eye for details, yes correct. Here's my made up excuse....Those are limited editions so I didn't count them as I "meant" production knives......hey I could run for Congress.......300

Wolf, I can make them appear any yellow hue you want, but they are accurate to the real thing in the above photo...

So I take it Larry is the man on these...
I'd really like to have a big one in yellow...
Very cool. Wait until the fellers over in traditional get a look at these...

So did I understand that the yellows are a limited production?

Gorgeous slippies! Here's hoping these U.S.-made knives are a bigtime seller for Buck.

No these are regular production knives, like the Dymondwoods and Red Cherrywood Chairman series. We said we wanted some colors so we are getting them. Next will be regular production Paperstone, someday. If history is any indication you will see a series run for a few years and then be ended to start something new. But, the old bllack sawcut keeps on going and going.

Thats good to hear. I've been thinking of getting a Dymondwood, but now that the yellow is out, that may have to come first...
I've said for quite awhile that if Buck would come out with some different scale options, I would buy one. I guess its time to put my money where my mouth is :D

OK OK I'm convinced. These yellers are nice. Just put S30V steel blades on 'em and I'll buy one of each!

Any 307 would be awesome.

Kidding aside, I'm liking these yellers.

I agree ! The 307 is the one I like . If Buck put it out with any steel and any slabs I'd buy one . I have a 1972, 307 Wrangler that I carried for a while . Then cleaned it up and put it in my display . It's a good knife . DM:thumbup:

I wanted to find out if the yeller ones came with a pocket slip sheath.
I had been told by a few folks that the Dymondwood versions do come with them, but the new yellow ones that they have in stock, do not have the sheath.
That sucks but its still not a deal breaker
