Yesterday I went to the custom knife show here in NY. It was pretty good but there was nothing from Busse. Not even Bladeart brought the one Mean Street they have in stock. Many of the makers and most of the dealers with whom spoke seemed reluctant to speak about infi. THey refused to say anyting bad but they would not say much good either. They seemed almost resentful of Busse success. It was quite strange really. Any opinions?

first of all, bladeart and tadgear are the only sites other than the company store that i have seen busses on. i have never seen one in a shop. probably has a lot to do with ordering procedures and limited availability.

maybe the shops expect makers to ship them knives, rather than the shops going through the ordering like everyone else.

I have to say I am a bit dissapointed at the show. I noticed a lot of them were having DDR GunHammer EDC-X folder in display. I handle it and like it very much. Price they are asking for is over 800 dollars! But at DDR's website the very same blade is 675 dollars with assist. I thought price was not reasonable at all.

I found out a guy Theuns Prinsloo from South Africa. His small bone handled blade fits comfortably in hand. The blade shape and feel is a lot similar to Game Warden. Too bad that he doesn't have a website to sell his stuff. But he was the only guy in the show that left me a strong impression. The guys is worthy to be noticed.

People seems to be quiet about bring the Busse name up. I found some they don't even know Busse! Perhpas some are play dumb :P

Maybe this is a sign telling Jerry to come NYC next year giving them a bit piece of his mind!

At least I know I will be delighted! :D

The knives I liked best were by Joel Bukiewicz. His knives were in CPM 3v
and they were quite nice. From 5 to almost 12 inch blades, convex edge, well made, and a good price. He was a really nice guy to boot. His girlfriend was pretty cool as well. Watch for his blades.
