The New York Show opens today! Due to an enormous crush of orders and updated delivery dates for military units suddenly being deployed, as well as a special project that we have been working on, I am unable to take time away from the shop to come to New York.
Our good friend, Marc Fratello (aka Contender) has graciously agreed to fly all the way from Florida to New York to man our table. Marc has recently begun work on a Busse Customs Value Index that will give new collectors an idea of current market values for older Busse Custom Knives. Andre Dumouchel is helping with the later models and hopefully this project will prove to be very helpful to new and established Busse Collectors.
With a huge batch of custom knives in his arsenal, Marc Fratello has set off for the Big Apple. Since our announcement of the new customs, we have been swamped with orders and Marc reports that he has already had several private showings at the hotel. Sales have been brisk and the show does not open until noon. Thats three hours from now. At the rate hes selling. . .. he may not have to set up at all! Sales are already inline to blow away previous years and we thank those of you who called to schedule these pre-show meetings. If you would like to schedule a private showing, please contact the shop and we will put you in touch with Marc at the show.
If you are active police or military, please ask Marc to see Whats under the table?. . . . You must use the code words.. . The Floridian is Freezing!. . . coupled with the secret handshake in order to gain access to these blades. Oh, and you will be forced to give blood in an oath of secrecy. . . .you know the routine. Anyway, Marc has an extremely limited run of something we made for the New York Show ONLY that is very cool.
