Anyone here from NZ? Going there soon for a trip and wondering what the local knife carry laws are. I was thinking of bringing my Delica with me.

I would recommend contacting Coote. He posts here, mainly under the wilderness and survival forum. Coote is his username, and he lives in NZ. He actually helped me get a knife from down there once, and he is a nice guy to e-mail with. Living down there, he may know something about what's verbotten and what's not.

delica is find in NZ, just don't try to bring double edge knivies or auto into NZ as it is illegal now. ( single edge is OK)
