i can’t figure out how to post pictures yet so I’ll just post the link to the website. These just came out today and IMO are freakin B-e-a-utiful! Better looking than the original and the all black sprint run I think, and the black sprint runs sold out extremely quick. So I purchased 2 of these....

Gorgeous if u ask me....btw does anyone know how many of the all black ones they made? Seems like they were all gone after a week so maybe 1000 or so? I wish they would provide this information on the sprint runs like they do with the LE’s.

I haven't seen any of those yet. That one looks pretty sharp. They're one of the best looking ZT models for sure, it might be time to try one myself, haha.

I'm not normally a fan of black blades but this one with the medium blue scales is very attractive. I'm carrying my 0609 today and was reminded of how nice it is.

I like blue knives, so it's definitely a looker imho. BUT I find it kind of ugly that they had time to release THREE versions of the knives, but here people are still waiting for the friggin pivot tool.
This x 1000.
WTFreak ZT?

Here, I'll help

What?! Thought I read its 20cv. But you are right its s35vn as is displayed on the blade.

The blue anodizing looks great, the black coated blade I'm not feeling.
The whole 0609 just doesn't appeal to me any way it's a little small for my tastes,
plus the down grade on the blade steel from the original is a bit of a let down.
ZT is going crazy with the sprints this year.

I find it weird that we already have it available here (in Germany). o_O

I'm rather irritated that the sprints are going for the same price as the normal one, but with an objectively worse blade steel. Downgrade for the same price? That's dumb.

I thought the same thing. They did this with the 0393s, too. After looking at the blue color on the laptop instead of the iPhone, I don't think that blue looks as good as I thought it did.

Id rather just get a custom anodized one from usamade instead. If that black pivot wears it going to look horrible...

How is s35vn objectively worse than 20cv?? Sure, 20cv has more carbides, giving it better edge retention (having much more carbon and chrome)... but I expect s35vn to be tougher & more chip resistant.

If you use edge retention only, zdp189 should be the best knife steel in the world with 3% carbon.

20CV is actually really tough for the edge retention it has. About equal to S30V, so it will be slightly below S35VN, but in a folder toughness isn't terribly important. 20CV also does beat ZDP-189 in edge retention, but it doesn't have as fine of a structure, nor does it handle as keen of an edge as well. Different steels with completely different compositions and all that.

I wanted the bronze version, until I recognized they were dull grey. Pooh.
Who knows down the road they might be the most collectible because they suck so bad! (IMO).
Ordered the BLUBLK, I like the blk blade on my 801BLK and the 392BRZ alot.

So if the blue won't become a weird color from handling? Good to go. Best of two worlds.
Zt never intended to ship with a tool, as I understand it.

So at least I hope most all versions had no issue with loosened pivots.
