I have wanted this knife for years ever since I seen Gibbs from ncis with it. I read how big this knife was but damn its BIG. The only con I have was for a 200 dollar knife I thought it would have came razor sharp. I mean it had a decent edge but not razor.

Next to my tenacious for size.

Congrats! I'm a big fan of the 300 series. Great looking knives and they have proven themselves time and time again in use. I only own one ZT and it also wasn't very sharp. Most folks who buy high end knives like to sharpen and do their own thing, so it tends to not make difference for most folks. It's a quick fix for most, but if all else fails there are plenty of good people who will sharpen for you and I'm sure KAI would be happy to do it too.

It is a thick utility grind, not a thin razor. BTW Gibbs has a 0302

Mine came razor sharp, as long as it isn't a blem ZT offers lifetime sharpening. If you contact them and ship it in I bet they will put a razor edge on it.

Love that knife.

I think ZT's usually come with a good edge. Not razor sharp but a decent utility edge that you can take anywhere. It's not a tomato slicer but it will do the job.
