im new to emersons what would yall recomend for a nice edc knife with wave
i like the CQC-7B or the MINI-Commander. are they worth the money?
is it easy to find a used one to see if i like it?

first let me say welcome to an addiction, both knives you mentioned are excellent, built to take a beating and not let you down. Thus i feel they are very worth the money. You get what you pay for and then some applies here. As far as finding a used one, take a peek at the for sale forums or put something in the wanted to buy forums. The other thing is if you buy one and dont like it, you will easily find a buyer for it.

I have a Commander a CQC-7B and a CQC-15 and love them all. Ergos on all 3 are great and the "wave" is amazingly fast. I own other knives but I always carry an Emerson w/ me at all times.

They all fit in your hand like they were built for you. Pick the blade style you feel is most attractive or versatile. I will say, there's a reason why the 7 is known world wide and is still a best seller after a decade in the line-up.
