I wanted to introduce myself. I am an LEO in Middle TN and I have been reading for while as I recently gotten into knives. I have mostly been a gun guy but within the last 3 or 4 months I have picked up 2 Medfords and a Chris Reeve.
 
Welcome to BF J9, it looks like you're on your way to the madness of owning knives. I would have never thought I'd spend more on a knife than a gun. But, then again, people don't react much when I pull out a knife in public. :)......Post some pics of your knives!!!!
 
It took a long time to get over the price. Once I finally started to understand the amount of work and quality of materials it helped get over the shock. What really did it was getting to see it firsthand.

First it was the Micro but given the price difference I switched to the RMP. The RMP is a great edc size but it hasnt broken in as good as my Micro yet. Of course whatever knife I carry compliments my Glock 19!
 
The knives that I am into are like my guns in the way that they are usable. I dont really care for safe queens.
