Newb Question on Unmunzaan

Hi Folks,
I just purchased my first CRK. I chose theUmnumzaan, and after spending a couple of days with it I have a question. As expected, when the blade deploys it's virtually silent because of the o-rings. However, when the blade closes it makes an audible "click". Should the blade be silent when it closes? The "click" doesn't sound inappropriate to me, I'm just curious.

I think it is normal, as the o-ring does not hit the scale at the close position.
Mine does it, too.

miso2 is correct- the thumb lugs park on the frame and lock bar when closed allowing the o-rings to keep their shape, hence the sound.

Perfectly normal, when the detent ball falls into the detent hole is when the audible click happens. It looks like the lock bar is resting against the blade but it’s not. I’ve slid a piece of notebook paper between them.

My two specimens click on closing.
One is a bit noisier than the other when opening too.
