Newb with some stone questions (Hapstone R2)

All, Just received my R2 a few days ago along with 2 sets of stones.
Set of
Gritomatic Boride T2
&
Gritomatic Silicon Carbide

Is there a preferred method with either of these sets? As in, wet (if so what solution), dry? I have Gunny Juice on hand as well, figured I'd ask and get some experienced opinions.

This is what gritomatic recommends.

"recommended to be used with water as a lubricant. Soak the stone for 1-2 minutes and splash water on the stone's surface to prevent drying."

You can add a couple drops of dishwashing soap to the water if you want.
